Urban Leo Triplet

Here is an urban effort on the Leo Triplet, three bright galaxies in Leo. The three galaxies, M65, M66 and NGC3628 are all spirals with NGC3628 also known as the Hamburger Galaxy. NGC3628 has a tidal tail at the bottom of the galaxy that is faintly visible in this image.
Since this image was taken looking directly into the worst part of the light pollution visible from my driveway, a large part of the processing was aimed at taming the colour and brightness gradients across the image.

According to Wikipedia - The Leo Triplet (also known as the M66 Group) is a small group of galaxies about 35 million light-years away in the constellation Leo. This galaxy group consists of the spiral galaxies M65, M66, and NGC 3628.
