Helix Nebula

Here is a reprocess of some recent data on the Helix nebula. I paid a little more attention to the histogram while stretching and got a more natural look to the final image. Click on the image to see a tighter crop of the nebula. Click on the image again to return to the wider field.

Masked noise reduction, sharpening and contrast enhancement done with multi scale decomposition tool. Image binned and cropped for web display.
