Pleiades M45 (Canon 60Da)

Here is a shot taken from the dark skies of the St. Croix Observatory. The conditions started off great and remained so until I moved on to the next target for the evening.
Object M45 RA 3:47:29 Dec 24:06:18
Exposure 40 minutes (40 X 1  minute)
ISO 1600
Camera Canon 60Da DSLR
Optics 200mm SkyWatcher f/5 Newtonian reflector with Paracorr for a total  focal length of 1150 mm
Location St. Croix, Nova Scotia
Processing Calibration and stacking done with Images Plus. No darks were used in the calibration as the 60Da has built in dark suppression. Statistical filter applied for reduction of the fine grain noise followed by an arcsinh initial stretch. Feature mask function used to separate the stars from the background. The background was stretched with a curve adjustment and then sharpened using multi-scale decomposition. The stretched  image was then recombined with the stars and the halos reduced with a masked curve.
